Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating sales, increasing revenue and profitability. This position establishes and develops client relationships as well as works with one or more recruiters to fulfill open job orders. The position will collaborate with business stakeholders, business leaders and subject matter experts to plan and deliver projects effectively and timely.

In Short

  • Establish and maintain target list developing client relationships.
  • Conduct prospecting activities including phone calls, email, social media, and in-person meetings.
  • Generate new job orders weekly in line with performance objectives.
  • Manage new and open job orders from intake to fulfillment.
  • Utilize Bullhorn to log all activity, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a book of business.
  • Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell and/or fulfill open positions across other lines of business.
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances.
  • Develop and deliver written and verbal communication that conveys clear understanding.
  • Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 0 to 18 months B2B sales and/or recruitment required.
  • Advanced, relevant experience considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage self and others’ emotions.
  • Ability to make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
  • Ability to partner and connect with others to achieve shared goals.
