Overview

The Sales Executive, Select position focuses on executing industry-leading sales strategies, developing effective sales relationships, and driving profitable growth in assigned segments.

In Short

  • Responsible for executing sales strategies and developing customer relationships.
  • Create tactical sales plans for profitable growth.
  • Identify new customers and understand industry characteristics.
  • Work with distribution resources to develop partnership plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and local market trends.
  • Collaborate with other business units to ensure a seamless sales process.
  • Engage in point-of-sale presentations and proposal development.
  • Build strong relationships with producers and other stakeholders.
  • Support the Select Accounts team in managing distribution resources.
  • Participate actively in the local business community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of sales or underwriting experience in the insurance industry.
  • Technical knowledge of Property & Casualty.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to close sales and negotiate effectively.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Lotus products.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of professional or underwriting experience required.
