Experienced Outside Property Claim Representative - Remote

Overview

The Experienced Outside Property Claim Representative is responsible for handling first party property claims, ensuring optimal claim resolution for personal or business claims of moderate severity and complexity. This position is based 100% remotely.

In Short

• Handle 1st party property claims of moderate severity and complexity.
• Complete field inspections of losses including accurate scope of damages.
• Investigate and evaluate facts to determine coverage and liability.
• Negotiate with contractors and insured’s representatives.
• Maintain compliance with internal and external quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the claim life cycle.
• Manage file inventory to ensure timely resolution of cases.
• Participate in the Catastrophe Response Program as needed.
• Mentor and coach less experienced claim professionals.
• Perform administrative functions as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of one year previous outside property claim handling experience.
• General knowledge of estimating system Xactimate preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Intermediate negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to analyze and determine coverage.
• Must be physically capable of climbing ladders and inspecting properties.
• Valid passport preferred.
