Overview

The Senior Property Risk Engineer is responsible for conducting quality risk assessments and providing consultation to clients and staff, ensuring effective risk management and loss control.

In Short

  • Ownership of the Property Technical Discipline in assigned territory.
  • Conduct specialist risk assessment surveys.
  • Document findings and recommendations for clients.
  • Consult with clients on hazard control methods.
  • Serve as a technical expert resource to Risk Control Consultants.
  • Maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct research on technical subjects for clients.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory environments.
  • Function as an Account Consultant for National Property accounts.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 8+ years of Property/Highly Protected Risk experience preferred.
  • Exceptional technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical training experience preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Understanding of insurance products and risk selection practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical specialist discipline.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to attain state-specific certification.
