Overview

The Managing Risk Control Consultant will oversee a team providing Risk Control services, manage client relationships, and support new business initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

In Short

  • Manage a team of 4+ employees in Risk Control.
  • Conduct risk assessment surveys at client locations.
  • Support new business acquisition and account retention.
  • Provide coaching and skill development for staff.
  • Engage with business partners to understand their needs.
  • Participate in local underwriting meetings.
  • Direct account management for Large Commercial Accounts.
  • Collaborate with Specialists and SMEs for technical support.
  • Ensure appropriate Risk Control resources and staffing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Risk Control.
  • Strong understanding of risk control principles.
  • Experience in safety, risk management, or related fields.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to attain state-specific certifications.
  • Preferred certifications: CSP, GSP, ARM.
  • Competency in performing risk assessments for various lines of business.
