Overview

The Outside Sales Executive is responsible for executing sales strategies and developing effective sales relationships in the Southern California territory, contributing to the profitable growth of Select Accounts.

  • Responsible for executing industry-leading sales strategies.
  • Initiate and develop sales relationships with customers and distribution resources.
  • Create tactical sales plans for profitable growth.
  • Identify new customers fitting company profiles.
  • Develop annual Business Development Plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and local market trends.
  • Work collaboratively with other business units.
  • Participate in point-of-sale presentations.
  • Build partnerships with other business groups.
  • Actively involved in the local business community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of sales or underwriting experience in insurance.
  • Technical knowledge of Property & Casualty.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to close sales and negotiate effectively.
  • Marketplace knowledge and business acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Lotus products.
  • C.I.C. designation or willingness to pursue.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of professional or underwriting experience required.
