Overview

The Sr. Manager, Sales Compensation is responsible for leading compensation strategy, design, and administration for all go-to-market teams on variable compensation plans, driving operational efficiencies, and managing the timely and accurate roll-out of commissions and bonus plans.

In Short

  • Manage a team of direct reports and build a positive team culture.
  • Develop and implement compensation plans aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Build sales payback models and cost per sale analysis.
  • Manage sales crediting and commissions processing for accurate payments.
  • Support financial accrual process for monthly commission estimates.
  • Implement processes and tools to improve compensation administration.
  • Create monthly forecasts and reporting to track sales performance.
  • Enable effective quota setting with robust analysis.
  • Collaborate extensively with Finance, People, and Sales teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in sales compensation plans.
  • 3+ years managing direct reports.
  • BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and reporting.
  • Proficiency in SQL, ICM software, and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong communication skills across leadership levels.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple projects.
