Overview

The Director of Business Development will lead the sales process, drive new business, and establish SHR as a leading player in the hotel industry, focusing on customer relationships and strategic initiatives.

In Short

  • Lead the sales process from identifying accounts to closing opportunities.
  • Work with marketing to build a pipeline of leads.
  • Exceed annual sales quotas.
  • Identify and close major revenue-producing hotels.
  • Develop Account-Based Marketing initiatives.
  • Engage customers by presenting SHR solutions.
  • Manage pipeline activities using Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on tactics.
  • Own the contract process with clients.
  • Facilitate RFP processes for successful sales outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of SaaS sales experience.
  • Deep experience in the hotel/travel industry, preferably in technology.
  • Experience in electronic distribution and revenue management systems.
  • Business-to-Business sales experience.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
