Overview

The HR Employee Relations Specialist role will be the primary point of contact in providing best in class expertise and advice for complex cases across all employee relations matters ranging from employee wellbeing & support, to discipline & grievance, to industrial relations & litigation.

In Short

  • Primary point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Provide expertise and advice across various employee relations disciplines.
  • Assist in managing Employment Tribunal claims.
  • Draft employment tribunal responses and prepare legal arguments.
  • Ensure compliance with case management deadlines.
  • Support employees and managers in grievance and disciplinary issues.
  • Work towards improving employee experience.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Permanent contract with a salary up to £34,000.
  • Work from home option available.

Requirements

  • Formal qualification in HR or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of HR employee relations experience.
  • Experience dealing with ACAS and employment tribunal claims.
  • Up to date knowledge of UK employment law.
  • CIPD membership preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Creative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
