The Director, Partner Field Sales (Public Sector) at Tanium is responsible for recruiting, enabling, and aligning sales and technical teams with partners to achieve sales targets in the public sector.

In Short

  • Support public sector sales leadership and partners to accelerate planning and customer prospecting.
  • Own the Public Sector territory partner sales plan and forecast.
  • Align to sales regions to drive regional sales engagements.
  • Single point of contact for sales leadership within the region.
  • Work with partners to build joint business and territory account mapping plans.
  • Educate sales teams on partner value propositions.
  • Create partner go-to-market strategy for sales leaders.
  • Align strategic partners to top prospects to drive large deals.
  • Understand and deliver Tanium’s value to customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with various partners in the public sector.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in partner sales in IT Operations or IT Security.
  • Experience in creating a geographic partner business.
  • Successful track record as a quota carrying seller.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication with technical and business roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to operate independently.
  • Ability to evangelize the Tanium message to partners.
  • Desire to manage the partner lifecycle.
  • Proven success in sales and knowledge of sales processes.
