Overview

Stord is seeking a Sales Development Representative to help generate and accelerate the software/SaaS pipeline for its software AEs. This role offers an opportunity to grow into a leadership position while working in a fast-paced startup environment.

In Short

  • Generate qualified leads and opportunities for OMS and WMS software.
  • Set up appointments for Software AEs through proactive activities.
  • Manage inbound and outbound lead generation activities.
  • Record and document all activity in Salesforce.com.
  • Monitor the social web for opportunities and leads.
  • Identify and qualify project needs for sales handoff.
  • Maintain high activity levels to qualify and create sales pipelines.
  • Collaborate with AEs and marketing on campaigns.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Learn and share the value of Stord's supply chain software portfolio.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in sales and/or business development.
  • Proven lead generation or sales quota attainment track record.
  • High energy and a positive attitude.
  • Salesforce.com or similar CRM experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and execute new sales strategies.
  • Desire to learn new skills and build a career in software sales.
  • Comfort with a collaborative environment while being a self-starter.
  • Experience with sales engagement platforms is a bonus.
  • Background in SaaS or supply chain/logistics technology is a plus.
