The Technical Business Development Manager will drive the growth of Soracom’s global IoT connectivity business, bridging technical expertise with commercial strategy.

In Short

  • Lead new business initiatives related to SIM/eSIM/iSIM and IoT connectivity.
  • Conduct market and technology research on 3GPP/GSMA standards.
  • Evaluate new technologies to drive product innovation.
  • Develop technical-commercial proposals for new offerings.
  • Manage technical and commercial relationships with SIM/eSIM vendors.
  • Conduct price negotiations and contract reviews.
  • Collaborate with module vendors on technical interoperability.
  • Provide technical support to reseller partners and OEMs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Translate partner requirements into product improvement proposals.

Requirements

  • Over a decade of experience in the telecom sector.
  • Strong understanding of SIM/eSIM/Module technologies.
  • Experience with commercial models and telecommunications practices.
  • Ability to manage complex negotiations.
  • Strong commercial mindset.
  • Hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
