Overview

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for direct sales of Smiths Interconnect’s Semiconductor and Test products, managing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the assigned region.

In Short

  • Develop and deliver regional sales growth plans.
  • Identify customer needs and collaborate with marketing.
  • Prepare regional revenue forecasts and support budget planning.
  • Promote and sell products in the region.
  • Manage key performance indicators related to sales effectiveness.
  • Build strong customer relationships with key contacts.
  • Support trade shows and industry events.
  • Travel up to 50% for customer visits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or four-year technical degree.
  • 5+ years of direct field sales experience.
  • Experience in the interconnect industry preferred.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
  • US Citizenship or permanent residency required for certain accounts.
