Staff Software Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Lead the design and architecture of OEM adapter integrations.
• Drive the technical direction of the OEM Adapter Engineering team.
• Develop and enhance systems for data ingestion and delivery from OEMs.
• Set high standards for coding practices and documentation.
• Oversee initiatives to optimize performance and scalability of integrations.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, and engineering teams.
• Guide and mentor engineers on the team.
• Stay informed about the latest technologies in automotive and API space.
• Ensure all solutions meet security and compliance standards.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in building high-performance, scalable APIs.
• Strong background in architectural guidance.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Python, and Go.
• Familiarity with event-based architectures.
• Experience with OEM vehicle data integrations is desirable.
• Proficiency in AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Ability to mentor engineers and guide teams.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Base salary: $180,000 - $225,000.
