Overview

The Customer Support Agent will support existing SimScale users and design and manage technical content for prospective customers, collaborating with multiple departments.

In Short

  • Provide engineering support to SimScale users running CFD, FEA, and thermal projects.
  • Learn pre/post-processing simulation techniques on user projects.
  • Provide technical support for existing and prospective customers.
  • Design and curate images and audiovisual material for training and website use.
  • Build agents for AI automation workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Product development team on customer feedback.
  • Communicate with internal teams to debug simulations and coordinate support.
  • Part-time position at 20 hours per week, ideal for working students in Germany.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an Engineering Master’s degree at a German University is mandatory.
  • A completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering field is mandatory.
  • Focus on CFD/FEA coursework is required.
  • Familiarity with Engineering Software and/or SaaS solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of commercial CAD and CAE simulation tools.
  • Experience or desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Social Intelligence for handling difficult customer conversations.
  • Disciplined in managing time and resources.
  • Team player who shares best practices and coaches colleagues.
  • Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driven to contribute to team and company goals.
  • Located within or near the Central European Standard time zone.
  • Fluency in English (C1+) required, German is a plus.
