Vice President of Development - Remote

Overview

The organization is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial leader to serve as Vice President of Development, responsible for leading the development strategy and overseeing all aspects of philanthropic revenue.

• Maintain and refine core assets like case studies and templates.
• Identify and match funders to programmatic opportunities.
• Promote constructive dialogue and bridge divides.

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of fundraising experience.
• Track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts.
• Skilled relationship-builder across ideological lines.
• Strong communicator with compelling narrative skills.
• Organized and self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Aligned with the organization’s mission.
• Bonus: background in academia or higher education.
