Overview

The Account Executive will support and grow our State and Local Government customer base, building trusted relationships with government agencies and addressing operational and technology challenges.

In Short

  • Remote opportunity with local travel to customer accounts.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of State and Local Government accounts.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new opportunities within assigned SLED territories.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand agency goals and challenges.
  • Present tailored solutions that align with government requirements.
  • Navigate public sector procurement processes.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of sales experience, ideally in B2B or technology sales.
  • Interest in or experience with State and Local Government entities.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Exposure to CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
