Overview

The National Account Director develops new business with prospects and manages the full cycle sales process, helping manufacturers drive change in their operations.

In Short

  • Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Meet with potential sales prospects to determine business needs.
  • Stay current on industry trends, especially in food, beverage, and CPG.
  • Research and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Identify improvements and recommend sales strategies.
  • Prepare data and sales reports.
  • Attend training workshops and meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Sales, Operations, or Business Management preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in outside sales in the food, beverage, or CPG sector.
  • Passionate about selling and knowledgeable about products/services.
  • Strong negotiation and marketing skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to prepare presentations and communicate effectively.
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and CRM.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.

Benefits

  • Base pay range: $110,000 to $135,000 USD Annual.
  • Eligible for commission.
