Overview

As a Data Engineer at QAD Inc., you will be responsible for designing, industrializing, and optimizing data pipelines in a data-driven and AI-oriented environment, contributing to the entire data chain from ingestion to production.

In Short

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Structure, transform, and optimize data in Snowflake.
• Implement multi-source ETL/ELT flows.
• Leverage AWS services for data management.
• Prepare data for Data Science teams and integrate AI/ML models.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance.
• Provide input on data architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in Snowflake and AWS.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in Snowflake, including modeling and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of AWS data services.
• Advanced SQL and Python for data manipulation.
• Proven experience in ETL/ELT pipeline design.
• Ability to deploy AI models into production workflows.
• Experience with agentic AI architectures is a plus.
• Integration of AI models into data pipelines is a plus.
• Knowledge of modern architectures such as Lakehouse or Data Mesh is a plus.
