Overview

Data Ideology is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team, focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing production ETL pipelines and SQL-based data transformations.

In Short

• Develop, maintain, and enhance production ETL pipelines using Informatica.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL for transformations and analytics.
• Support and enhance data pipelines loading into Snowflake.
• Debug failed ETL jobs and performance issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Support data warehouse environments across cloud and hybrid architectures.
• Maintain technical documentation and workflow logic.
• Participate in SDLC processes including deployments and testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building ETL pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins and performance tuning.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, including Snowflake.
• Able to troubleshoot ETL failures and data issues independently.
• Experience with SDLC frameworks and version control systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Hands-on work in existing Informatica and Snowflake environments is required.
