In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the organization by improving fraud prevention capabilities and designing efficient data engineering pipelines. As part of a global team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across various business functions to ensure that data processes are optimized for real-time and batch processing. This position also supports innovative uses of artificial intelligence to enhance data solutions.

In Short

• Improve the bank’s fraud prevention capabilities
• Develop data engineering pipelines for real-time and batch data processing
• Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, and Data Scientists to define pipeline requirements
• Design and develop pipelines alongside Data Architects and Technical Leadership
• Work with Release Management and DevOps teams to release pipelines into production

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional expertise as a Data Engineer
• At least 5 years of experience with Python 3
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and Apache Beam
• Experience with data analysis and transformation libraries such as Pandas or Polars
• Good understanding of data engineering strategies
• Experience integrating with APIs and filesystems
