Overview

The Benefits Specialist – Broker Support & Implementation is a detail-oriented and customer-focused Benefits Specialist to support insurance brokers and employer clients with the implementation and ongoing management of benefits through the Employee Navigator Benefits Administration System.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers and employer groups.
  • Configure and maintain client benefit plans and workflows.
  • Coordinate with brokers and carriers to gather necessary documents.
  • Guide brokers and HR teams through onboarding and setup.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Train brokers and HR users on platform functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with benefit regulations and data accuracy.
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures.
  • Stay current with platform updates and client needs.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in benefits administration or consulting.
  • Hands-on experience with Employee Navigator or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of group health, dental, vision, life, and ancillary plans.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
