Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

Overview

This is a temporary position for 6 months, where the Accounts Payable Specialist will report directly to the Financial Controller, Europe, and will be responsible for managing all accounts payable functions, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.

In Short

• Process and pay vendor invoices accurately and on time.
• Maintain records for all accounts payable transactions.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment issues.
• Perform regular payments and track accounts payable aging.
• Assist with month-end close processes and audit requests.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Work with finance systems, ideally Xero.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet financial commitments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Handle employee reimbursements and credit card payments.

Requirements

• 3 years' experience in accounts payable and vendor invoicing.
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and revenue recognition.
• Proficient in MS Office and finance software.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality and accurate work.
• Comfortable working with data.
• College degree preferred.
• Knowledge of change management offerings is a plus.
