Overview

Porter is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Specialist to enhance and execute a smooth onboarding experience for new employees while ensuring compliance with employment laws.

In Short

  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding for new internal employees.
  • Act as the first point of contact for new hires.
  • Develop onboarding materials and improve workflows.
  • Stay current on labor laws and advise leadership.
  • Maintain and monitor employee records for compliance.
  • Analyze and improve onboarding processes.
  • Support administration of employee benefits programs.
  • Manage and track employee leaves.
  • Maintain accurate employee files and HR records.
  • Generate reports related to onboarding and compliance audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR experience.
  • Working knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
