In Short

• Serve as engineering leader on significant projects, taking full end-to-end technical responsibility.
• Define and communicate architecture approaches, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Anticipate risks and build deployment, monitoring, and rollback plans.
• Produce and review high-quality, well-tested code across the TypeScript monorepo.
• Work closely with Product to drive requirements that consider all parties’ needs.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing and thorough code review.
• Research and propose new technologies that keep the platform ahead of scale and security requirements.
• Help set team norms around code quality, process, and engineering standards.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly through design documents and tech talks.
• Foster team growth, employee development, and retention.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a Tech Lead with end-to-end technical responsibility.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with serverless or event-driven architectures.
• Solid grounding in relational databases and API design.
• Experience creating design documents and communicating architecture decisions.
• Strong ability to scope ambiguous projects and identify risks early.
• Comfort working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated domains is a plus.
• History of mentoring engineers and improving team culture.
