Technical Account Manager - Financial Institution Partnerships - Remote

Overview

The Technical Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with financial institutions, driving technical strategies, and ensuring successful API integrations to enhance Plaid's offerings.

• Lead technical strategy and roadmap with financial institutions and fintechs.
• Intake requests from Product teams for discovery sessions and product launches.
• Develop integration roadmap with partnership managers.
• Complete technical scoping and launch new API integrations.
• Document and communicate technical updates to necessary teams.
• Provide clear technical direction on Plaid's FI integrations and products.
• Establish and own relationships with technical stakeholders.
• Advocate for innovation and early adoption of Plaid products.
• Serve as escalation point for technical incidents.
• Partner with industry relations team to influence open banking standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years in a client-facing or technology-focused role.
• Experience managing external relationships and executing technical strategies.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of APIs, databases, and system architecture.
• Self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and navigate roadblocks.
