Overview

The Principal Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in equipping Delphix partners and their customers with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary for successful customer outcomes. This remote role requires deep technical aptitude and a strong desire to become a Delphix subject matter expert.

In Short

  • Build and maintain deep technical proficiency across the Delphix platform.
  • Deliver technical enablement training for partner engineers and architects.
  • Guide partner engineering resources through PoVs and early customer implementations.
  • Assist partners in maintaining demo environments for customer demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with partner managers to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Continuously mentor partner engineers on Delphix features.
  • Create and maintain high-impact training content for partners.
  • Co-develop go-to-market strategies with partners.
  • Facilitate coordination across product-specific experts for joint opportunities.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of data privacy and masking frameworks.
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot complex data platforms.
  • Experience delivering technical training to engineers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience supporting partner teams during pre-sales and implementations.
  • Proven ability to develop technical enablement assets.
  • 7+ years of experience in a technical enablement or partner solutions engineering role.
