Overview

The Cloud Engagement Lead (CEL) is responsible for providing business development and Co-Sell leadership for Google Cloud Platform, focusing on driving new leads and closing large opportunities in collaboration with Palo Alto Networks and Google Cloud teams.

In Short

  • Develop annual strategic plans and performance goals.
  • Lead global campaigns around key sales plays.
  • Engage and maintain partner relationships with stakeholders.
  • Manage joint sales and Co-Sell opportunities.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts and funnel management reports.
  • Support public cloud training curriculum and sales enablement.
  • Coordinate with various teams as part of cloud strategy.
  • Provide support for channel activity with Google Cloud.
  • Act as an escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales issues.
  • Build relationships with key personnel and partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Sales Leadership – Account or Partner Management.
  • 5+ years of worldwide experience and Channel Program experience preferred.
  • Experience with GCP engagement.
  • History of managing campaigns and sales plays with partners.
  • Knowledge of security product market trends.
  • Ability to work in a virtual and matrix environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Attitude to assist in winning business while respecting company culture.
