The Leave of Absence Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and administering all federal and state leave programs, serving as the main point of contact for team members seeking leave and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

In Short

  • Manage and administer leave programs for team members.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for leave inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with administration of benefits and retirement plans.
  • Engage with managers and HR for the ADA process.
  • Monitor and support the Leave of Absence inbox.
  • Provide oversight for leave of absence claim management.
  • Conduct audits for data accuracy of leave and accommodations.
  • Provide counsel to managers on benefit issues.
  • Conduct monthly new hire benefits orientation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or HR preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in Leave Administration.
  • Workday experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state leave administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
