Leave of Absence Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Leave of Absence Specialist position plays a critical role in managing employee leave, accommodations, and benefits administration at Schweiger Dermatology Group.

• Manage employee leave programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on leave policies and ADA accommodations.
• Work closely with HR leadership and third-party administrators.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy laws.
• Coordinate return-to-work processes for staff on leave.
• Provide updates to HR partners on leaves and accommodations.
• Assist with open enrollment and benefits training.
• Develop and improve leave policies and procedures.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting.
• Support HR and Benefits Teams with various tasks.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in managing leave programs.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented and empathetic approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience with Workday HRIS is a plus.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
