RCM / Collections Specialist / Medical Biller - Remote

Overview

The RCM / Collections Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate submission of invoices and follow-up on payments for services provided by Option Care Health, the largest independent home infusion provider in the United States.

In Short

• Responsible for timely submission of invoices to payers.
• Evaluates and applies payments accurately to patient accounts.
• Follows up on payments to ensure timely receipt.
• Assists with Billing and Collection Training.
• Completes second level appeals to payers.
• Ensures compliance with contract terms and HIPAA guidelines.
• Generates and mails statements and collection letters.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and business integrity.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word required.
• Must reside in the Central Time Zone.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0 – 6 months experience in Infusion Reimbursement or Intake/Admissions.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to follow policies and guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
