Overview

The Patient Records Coordinator is responsible for organizing patient documentation, coordinating benefit reauthorization, and ensuring accuracy in claims preparation at the nation's largest home infusion provider.

In Short

• Organizes patient documentation for claims preparation.
• Notifies reimbursement of missing documentation.
• Monitors unbilled for missing documentation.
• Coordinates the patient benefit reauthorization process.
• Tracks documentation completion by patient/physician.
• Performs clerical duties including data entry and filing.
• Scans, indexes, and processes incoming faxes.
• Facilitates communication with referral sources.
• Accepts additional responsibilities as assigned.
• No supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-6 months of relevant experience.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Preferred experience in infusion medical billing or admissions.
• 1 year of direct experience preferred.
