Overview

As a Commodity Sales Organics Executive, you will play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable practices by developing and maintaining relationships with outlets and vendors to service organics disposition and processing, contributing directly to waste reduction.

In Short

  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist with problem resolution for organics recycling streams/outlets.
  • Research new recycling trends and technologies.
  • Analyze complex data sets related to waste streams and market trends.
  • Synthesize data insights into actionable plans for recycling solutions.
  • Review and negotiate contracts for complex solutions.
  • Assist with new client onboarding.
  • Manage relationships with Outlet partners.
  • Own assigned categories for commercial benefit.

Requirements

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort with cold calling.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel throughout North America 3 – 5 times per year.
  • 4-year degree in Science or Business with a focus on Analytics or relevant experience.
