Overview

The Project Solutions Group (PSG) is looking to add a Sales Solution Specialist to our team! We provide sales and project support to help create solutions to Wayfair Professional customers’ most complex projects. PSG services includes project management, procurement, Design, Category Sales and consolidated delivery support. In order to be successful, team members must have curious personalities, deep knowledge of Wayfair’s capabilities, exceptional customer-facing sales skills, strong cross-functional collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirits.

In Short

  • Meet and exceed sales targets for PSG project sales
  • Project manage the full sales cycle of the opportunity (product specification, supplier coordination, logistics coordination) to ensure we meet the customer’s budget, timeline, and aesthetic, while also maximizing value-added services (warranties, technical category sales, consolidated delivery)
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing sales contact for all complex project sales, driving high share of wallet and win rates across large projects
  • Coordinate effectively with sales to ensure they maintain a strong relationship with the account and are in a favorable position to win future business
  • Drive high customer satisfaction for complex project sales, encouraging repeat business and favorable word-of-mouth

Requirements

  • At least 12 months of B2B sales experience as an individual contributor or manager.
  • Ability to work independently to plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities - able to plan out key milestones to keep a project on track and effectively navigate roadblocks.
  • Successful at establishing and maintaining effective professional relationships; gaining trust, buy-in, and respect with business partners, peers and customers
  • Strong interpersonal skills (written, verbal, presentation)
  • Motivated self-starter that loves helping customers, closing deals, and comfortable directing peers to achieve his/her goals
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Curious personality - able to see trends in sales pattern and adjust accordingly
  • Understanding of Salesforce and Jira platforms preferred.
