Overview

The Sales Specialist serves as IPS International’s primary contact for new and established customers wanting IPS client publishers titles in Europe, requiring flexibility and a deep understanding of the evolving book marketplace.

In Short

  • Develops and grows sales via phone, web, and in-person opportunities in Europe.
  • Manages existing accounts and assists customers in growing their titles.
  • Introduces and recommends new titles to customers.
  • Collaborates with publishers to develop revenue-driving solutions.
  • Recommends proposals addressing customer needs.
  • Presents recommendations and contracts to management before finalizing with clients.
  • Identifies marketing opportunities through accounts.
  • Works with sales reps to increase revenue in Europe.
  • Provides regular progress reports to management.
  • Attends tradeshows and conventions to represent the company.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time.
  • Experience in evaluating client accounts for profit potential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Self-directed with strong sales closing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Attention to detail and effective judgment.
  • Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule.
