Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at NielsenIQ, you will be part of a highly Agile team, working on cutting-edge data-driven solutions for leading retailers.

In Short

  • Develop solutions for industry-leading analytics.
  • Design, develop, and deploy systems with multiple customizations.
  • Focus on system integration, particularly data flow into and from BI Reporting Tool.
  • Build scalable, reliable, cost-effective solutions for Cloud and on-premises.
  • Enhance technical expertise for efficient customer solutions.
  • Optimize end-user experience through performance-focused development.
  • Collaborate with architects to identify new tools and technologies.
  • Research new technologies to improve solutions.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and troubleshoot software defects.
  • Monitor performance and recommend necessary infrastructure changes.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Proficient in Java, Python, and/or Spark/Scala.
  • Strong knowledge of Relational Databases - SQL, Postgres, Snowflake.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
