Managed Services Engineer - Remote

NICE Actimize is currently seeking to hire technical, hands-on, customer focused Engineers to join our Managed Services team in Pune. We are looking for talented and motivated professionals, interested in delivering the latest in Actimize, in a culture that encourages autonomous productive teams. You are an engineer with confidence in his / her skill set, who is not afraid to look under the hood and break stuff to make stuff. If yes, then come be a part of Actimize Professional Services, a team of software engineers re-inventing Managed Application Operations. This position is for Pune development center.

In Short

• Manage Actimize related operations end to end on all the environments of client.
• Develop/Configure/Manage software feature(s) according to design document & enterprise software standards.
• Work in multi-disciplinary environment with Architects, BAs for project delivery.
• Support customer by solving functionality problems.
• Interface independently with various R&D and PS Groups and with Customer Support.
• May occasionally need to work on clientsite and/or in different time zone.
• Design full stack automation for troubleshoot failure & Run Daily Batch process.
• Propose monitoring services for different Batch & Realtime Services of Actimize solutions.
• Identify and resolve operational issues (e.g. batch failures, client data feed errors).
• Proactive approach to improve System Resiliency & Performance.

Requirements

• Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
• Development experience with Web development technologies like JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
• Skill for writing reusable Java libraries and Experience with web application frameworks.
• Familiarity and/or experience with private and public cloud infrastructures and technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud Engine or Azure.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment practices using industry standard tools such as Jenkins, Docker, VMs, Kubernetes and Artifactory.
• Experience with both external and embedded databases.
• Good experience in Unix, Shell Scripting and Batch Scripting.
• Good knowledge in SQL/PLSQL/MS-SQL.
