Overview

The Territory Business Manager (TBM) plays a crucial role in managing customer accounts within the assigned territory, focusing on expanding business and maintaining relationships in the clinical services sector.

In Short

  • Responsible for achieving annual sales goals.
  • Primary account owner for Tier A, B, and C accounts.
  • Engage with Key Account Managers to target Tier A accounts.
  • Own the entire sales process for assigned accounts.
  • Work with Oncology Sales Specialists to enhance account value.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing for account growth strategies.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through communication and problem-solving.
  • Maintain detailed records in Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business-related field required.
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in a clinical/laboratory market.
  • Strong closing skills and prior sales training preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Proven record of achievement in sales.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the clinical/laboratory market environment.
  • Ability to learn product information and apply it effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
