Overview

NeoGenomics is looking for a motivated individual to join their Purchasing Operations team as a Purchase Requisition Preparation Specialist. This role supports laboratory and business operations by preparing, monitoring, and managing purchase requisitions for goods and services.

In Short

• Prepare, submit, monitor, and manage purchase requisitions.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners across multiple departments.
• Assist with purchasing operations documentation.
• Analyze data to identify issues and trends.
• Contribute to process improvement efforts.
• Serve as point of contact for purchase requisition inquiries.
• Assist in training employees for requisition preparation.
• Adhere to financial controls.
• Perform other duties as needed to support operations.

Requirements

• 1+ year purchasing experience required.
• Associates degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or clinical laboratory industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of purchase-to-pay concepts.
• Ability to function independently.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
