Overview

The Account Manager at Motive will work closely with SMB dealerships, providing support and training on the Motive platform to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

In Short

  • Work with SMB dealerships (1-50 employees)
  • Proactively follow up with customers to identify ways to assist with their goals
  • Train dealers on using the Motive interface and new consumer-facing features
  • Remind customers of the benefits of our services
  • Communicate with dealers via email, phone, text, and Slack
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for dealers on various website-related questions
  • Monitor client websites for any issues or potential improvements
  • Aim to create moments of delight for clients

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A customer-first approach to problem-solving
  • 1-2 years of experience managing small to medium-sized business customers, with a preference given for those with experience working with auto dealers
  • Highly technical, familiar with creating and supporting websites and related products
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with great follow-through on initiatives big and small
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Familiarity with customer support software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Self-motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and not easily overwhelmed

Benefits

  • Compensation of $60,000 to $70,000 in base salary
  • Meaningful stock option compensation
  • Motive contributes 100% of the cost of employees' and 50% of dependents’ health, dental, and vision insurance premiums
