We are seeking a highly driven Senior Director, Business Development to lead Medison’s Search and Evaluation (S&E) and execute strategic partnerships. The leader will be responsible for managing the S&E team, identify, assess and execute transactions that align with our long-term growth strategy. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with the ability to operate as an owner, manage and inspire cross functional teams and engage effectively with C-level executives internally and externally with biotech partners.

In Short

  • Lead Medison’s S&E team of PhD professionals.
  • Manage identification and evaluation of strategic partnerships and business development opportunities.
  • Collaborate and lead the integration of scientific, commercial, financial, and strategic analyses.
  • Engage and collaborate with external partners to structure transactions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on partnership strategy.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships across stakeholders.
  • Represent Medison externally at key industry conferences.

Requirements

  • PhD in Life Sciences; MBA a plus.
  • 10-15 years experience in business development within pharma/biotech.
  • Rare disease and oncology experience preferred.
  • Successful track record in leading and closing late stage deals.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, highly driven.
  • Deep understanding of drug development lifecycle and regulatory pathways.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and deal structuring.
  • Excellent communication skills with C-level executives.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
