VP of Advertising Solutions - Remote

Overview

Mediavine is seeking an experienced VP of Advertising Solutions to join our growing Revenue department.

In Short

• Lead revenue accountability for Mediavine partnerships with retailers, brands, agencies, and demand-side platforms.
• Attract, develop, mentor, lead, and retain a high-caliber team of professional Business Developers.
• Devise and assign account lists to sellers, manage prospect pipelines, and ensure alignment of sales, account, and demand teams against revenue-based targets.
• Accurately forecast revenue and analyze sales performance data against KPIs.
• Develop and manage the sales budget for the department.
• Support key partnerships by building and maintaining relationships with prominent brands and agencies.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Advertising Technology departments to set rate cards for products, formats, and regions.
• Partner with the marketing team to generate sales collateral and organize events.
• Attend key industry events and participate in panels and presentations.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with outside revenue and technology partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the advertising industry.
• Strong understanding of revenue generation and sales strategies.
• Experience in managing high-performance sales teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience with sales performance metrics.
• Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
