Principal Consultant, Data Visualization - Remote

Overview

Lovelytics is seeking a Senior Data Visualization Consultant (Principal Consultant) with experience delivering Power BI and Tableau client engagements. This Principal Consultant will play a key role in delivering on client engagements related to semantic reporting, dashboarding, and overall analytics output. In this role you'll partner with Lovelytics' innovative clients to understand requirements, and utilize tools such has Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI, to deliver outstanding solutions. In addition to the technical capabilities for this role, we are looking for someone who wants to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and inclusive environment and has a passion for bringing meaning to data.

• Edit, write, and troubleshoot complex data calculations.
• Create advanced analytics dashboards that meet client requirements.
• Develop wireframes/mockups using tools like Figma.
• Implement data governance practices for improved data quality.
• Analyze data trends and contribute to data transformation.
• Work with engagement leads to design and architect solutions.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4-6 years' experience in a BI/Analytics role, with at least 2 years working with clients.
• Experience with SQL, SSIS, PowerQuery, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, and Knime.
• Experience building analytics with Tableau and Power BI.
• Ability to troubleshoot and QA analytical dashboards.
• Exposure to Databricks is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Lovelytics tools and client tools.
