Since partnering with Databricks in 2019, Lovelytics has experienced exponential growth, growing from 50 people to over 340 over the past 3 years. Lovelytics is a trusted partner for many of the most high-profile enterprise clients in Media & Entertainment, Manufacturing, Retail & CPG, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Financial Services. We’re building a new analytics platform for one of our impressive clients and we’re looking for a Business Analyst who can serve as the critical link between our technical teams and business stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, asking the right questions, and translating business needs into clear, actionable documentation.

In Short

• Collaborate with the data modeling team to gather detailed data and reporting requirements.
• Document source-to-target transformation rules in Excel.
• Analyze source systems and datasets using SQL.
• Work across various business functions in the Energy and Utilities sector.
• Support UAT and validation of data transformations.
• Improve internal documentation standards.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
• Strong skills in Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Curiosity about the Energy/Utilities industry.
• Experience with data projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with Databricks.
