Overview

The AVP, Executive Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting and driving profitable growth within the environmental impairment liability portfolio while supporting and training team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial underwriting focused on EIL.
• Strong understanding of EIL policy wordings.
• Post-secondary education with relevant insurance designations is an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proven analytical and sales skills.
• Comfortable with critical thinking and diverse perspectives.
• Able to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Effective at managing meetings with professionalism.
