Overview

The Associate Claims Specialist will manage administrative duties within the Claims department at Liberty Mutual Canada, providing service to policy holders, brokers, claimants, and internal customers.

In Short

  • Act as administrative support for the claims department.
  • Ensure new claims are set-up correctly in various systems.
  • Complete correspondence timely with insured and brokers.
  • Process vendor payments.
  • Liaise with Underwriting as required.
  • Complete all other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma.
  • 1+ years of related industry and/or claims experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically in Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Prioritization and decision-making skills.
