Overview

The Claims Specialist plays a key role in customer service at Lightology, focusing on managing customer claims and refunds while educating customers on lighting design.

In Short

  • Assists in managing Parts Claims and customer order issues.
  • Develops and follows processes and procedures.
  • Manages claim requests from start to finish.
  • First point of contact for customers and vendors.
  • Orders parts and checks SKUs and costs.
  • Works with vendors for damage replacements.
  • Creates logs for streamlined information access.
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to resolve issues.
  • Assists with additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 2 years of claims management experience.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of lighting or electrical products preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel).
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or NetSuite preferred.
  • Experience in the lighting, retail, or manufacturing industry preferred.
