The Senior Underwriter for Environmental Impairment Liability (EIL) will manage a complex portfolio of environmental business, driving profitable growth while collaborating with internal teams and building relationships with brokers and clients.

Requirements

• 3 years' experience in commercial underwriting focused on EIL
• Strong understanding of EIL policy wordings
• Relevant Insurance designation(s) considered an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proven analytical skills with a solutions-oriented approach
• Comfortable with critical thinking and diverse perspectives
• Able to give and receive constructive feedback
• Effective at managing meetings with professionalism
• Innovative with a growth mindset
• Ability to collaborate across business units
