Overview

This position is responsible for the sale of Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Services in a geographical territory to existing and prospected customers, as well as securing business opportunities to meet revenue targets in Canada.

In Short

  • Identify business leads with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to identify client needs.
  • Develop value propositions for clients.
  • Write and present proposals to clients.
  • Secure closure on proposals and hand over contracts.
  • Communicate sales process activities and provide market intelligence.
  • Interact with laboratory operations to ensure capabilities are not oversold.
  • Represent SGS at trade shows.
  • Act as the customer's advocate within SGS.
  • Continually develop personal selling skills and industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • Three-year degree in a relevant field.
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist designation is an asset.
  • Four plus years of technical sales or customer service experience.
  • Business development experience is preferred.
