Health & Safety Business Partner - Remote

Overview

The Health & Safety Business Partner will promote positive employee relations to strengthen employee and organizational commitment to a strong health and safety culture within defined region of responsibility. The H & S Business Partner will be responsible for Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities in one or more business locations, assessing and managing hazards and risk, reducing loss, applying the global Health and Safety Management System, and meeting or exceeding relevant federal and local regulation.

• Maintains and updates health, safety and environmental metrics and documents.
• Leads development and implementation of programs to meet defined strategies and objectives.
• Ensures maintenance of continuous “audit ready” state of compliance.
• Conducts H & S inspections and generates reports.
• Identifies and meets training needs for compliance.
• Assists with implementation of Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene.
• Leads risk identification and management processes.
• Participates in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Collaborates on injury case management processes.
• Supports locations via in-person and remote means.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, Chemistry, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, etc.
• 5+ years of experience in practical OHS advisory capacity.
• CRSP, CSP or equivalent designation required.
• Valid driver's license required.
